I guess the velour/velvet doesn't appeal to me since the summers here are very hot, and sitting on that stuff is torture when the temp is hovering at 100.

Did I say the A/C doesn't work?

Hmm, just how cold does it get in ND? How are the real estate prices?

Normal winter temps get into the -30 range, in a bad year can get to -54 officially (but that is where mercury becomes a solid).

Summer can be hot here, too, with occasional temps over 100.

Real estate prices are well below national norms in smaller towns, about the national average in the largest cities (approx 100,000 pop).
