Wife had an 87 Hyundai Excel before we got married. Crap on wheels.

We also had an '88 Subaru wagon that was a great car except for the hideous engine-- a split-block, laterally-opposed hunk of leaky junk.

Late-80's Ford Escort I had in 1994.

Tin can on wheels.

1989 Mitsubishi Montero.

The thing had a "tilt-o-meter" .....and believe me, it needed it -- short wheelbase, narrow, and tall. Driving on two-wheels around sharp turns was the norm.

Before we were married, my wife owned a 1980-something Oldsmobile Cutlass with that god-awful 350 converted diesel engine. We considered it an abnormal condition when it would actually run.

My first car of my own was a 1984 Subaru Justy... which I got in 1992. Going uphill I had to get out and push (or at least it felt like it).

My worst car was a '73 Toyota Corolla.
Damn thing was a rust bucket from new, ate an entire exhaust system annually, and could be outrun by an energetic bicyclist unless the road was all downhill.

"Toy"ota is an apt name - next I got a "Real"-ota...

1988 Yugo 65A.  Actually, I really like the car, but getting parts for it is difficult for some reason.

1990 something Chevy Cavalier.

The bottom near the gas pedal had some water leak problem and i would get a ice rink driving to school in the winter months.

It was a rust bucket pos and I loathed it.

1979 Ford Mustang. It died in more intersections than there were deaths in a classic American Western.

1976 Ford Fairmont. 4 doors, 4 cylinders, 4 MPH downhill. Turn on the A/C (yes - it had A/C!) and the POS couldn't fall out of a tree without a push.

1996 Suzuki Bandit 600

Due to Kali emission regs, I couldn't get it to run right at my altitude no matter what I did.
