if I could just remember how to make XP look like the old winders

For the classic start menu, right-click on the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, select "Properties", click on the "Start Menu" tab, and select "Classic Start Menu".

For the rest of the screen, right-click on the desktop anywhere there isn't an icon, select "Properties", and select "Windows Classic" as the theme.
