I post it at the request of my dear cohort LVD.
WS has graciously given me standing permission to post from his journal provided I include the URL.
Naysayers, save your fingers. We are disinclined to get into it with you. And, in case you haven't noticed, life is plenty complex for all kinds of explanations and assumptions . . . not to mention . . . evidence.
I have not translated the links operationally. Go to Whitley's site to operate the links, please.
NOTE: My FR page has some of my perspective on the UFO phenomena. I don't trust the critters. I also don't know who in the field is foisting disinformation knowingly or otherwise.
This is an interesting doc. That's enough for me to prayerfully ponder it. Caution is always in order in this field.
UFO PING LIST PING
Please let me AND Las Vegas Dave
know if you want on or off our UFO PING LIST.
THX.
Went to Area 51 this past weekend with my two nephews.
Stayed at the Lil Alien Inn (good Alien Burgers BTW)
Stared at the dark sky for a couple of hours.
Didn't see anything but one shooting star.
Went to the end of Groom Lake Rd. and took pics and waved at the Cammo Dudes.
Thanks for the ping, interesting story.

Quix, the last time we really interacted was:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1123484/posts
where I reluctantly posted my sighting of a massive, slow -moving dark grey cylinder.
It had such an impact on my life that the most important thing to do would to be remain credible, should I speak of it.
Whitley, and others on the Art Bell circuit tend to go too far by making a living out of it.
I believe it is quite possible he saw or experienced what he did, but then blows it by having to continue to entice people to subcribe to whatever he is shilling at the moment.
If I drop dead tonight, what I take with me is something most people will ever see. That's worth more than all the money in the world.
Good for you. Hope it was fun!
I think there's a ton of disinformation in this post.
I do believe there are evil forces involved in the UFO phenomena.
I don't know what factions of what governmental groups are involved.
I think Whitley is more than a little . . . wound up about some of my favorite leaders though I sure believe they are also influenced by the evil forces against Israel these days.
Anyway--an interesting era we live in.
Yeah, Dave, an interesting article. Therefore what, I don't know.
Some feel that WS is a gov plant like Sagan. I'm skeptical of that. But what do I know.
Agreed. Very understandable, thanks.
Come what may, I hope you can become reasonable and flexible in your belief system to adapt should something blantantly obvious make contact with Earth.
I still believe in God, Guardian Angels, Ghosts/AfterLife, Reincarnation, but with a twist.
I just take organized religons with a more scrutinized grain of salt.
Thanks.
I strongly believe that my person and belief system are more than sufficiently secure in the Person Jesus The Christ.
I'm flexible--but not like the open-mindedness that would have screen doors on submarines.
Have you read any of Chuck Missler's take on this?
Have read a fair amount of Chuck M.
As I recall, he's inclined to believe that 100% of all UFO/ET stuff is 100% demons--including the craft as materialized demons.
I don't believe my relative worked around craft which were materialized demons.
I do believe that all the better known ET's are either demons in bioengineered living 'suits'
OR
bonafide ET's from other places IN CAHOOTS WITH SATAN TOWARD A WORLD GOVERNMENT ETC. in line with Bible prophecy.
The Scripture:
ALL CREATION GROANS EXPECTANTLY, EAGERLY FOR THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS OF GOD
speaks to me that all creation--including ET's homeworlds, is eager for creation's sin polluted state to be lifted at Armageddon by the ALL CONQUERING JESUS CHRIST KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Apparently a similar event occurred in Mobile back in the 60's, with low oxygenation in the water receiving the blame.
I find Streiber to be an interesting guy, but have to say that his paranoid rant on Bush, global warming, etc. don't do much for (what is left of) his credibility. I remember that he was one of the folk talking about a space ship accompanying Hale Bopp, for instance.
Very interesting. Thanks for the ping.
Also, I read Missler's stuff as theory fitted into Biblical prophecy.
I have read all Whitley Strieber's stuff and have listen to him give a lecture. He is an excellent writer and speaker. But I also know exactly where he comes down on this issue. In Communion, he spoke of the abductors as "pure evil" but as his career progressed and his books rolled off the presses, he seemed to exhibit symtoms of the Stockholm syndrome. He seemed to take the side of his abductors.
My question is this...if the ET's have our best interests at heart, why do they treat abductee's with a carelessness and, even, a cruelty that I would never inflict on the squirrels and frogs and lizards in my backyard. The ET's exhibit no sign of spiritual evolution...in fact, the Spiritually evolved humans I know (filled with the Holy Spirit) would never treat any creature the way the ET's treat humans.
Whitley (who I actually like by the way) is an atheist and a secular humanist. And when I say atheist and secular humanist, I mean something special...there is an embracing of the occult ("Wolfen") and an anger toward God and Jesus. It is not simply a lightly embraced concept but a tightly held, anti-God view.
When I saw Whitley speak, it was at a strange fair that an old girl friend dragged me too (in Atlanta). It was a new age fair full of crystals and magicians and fortune tellers and UFO enthusiasts. I went as an open-minded person and I wanted to hear Whitley speak.
But when he did speak, it was the language of the new age movement. It was all environment and crystals and humanism...and the occult.
Anyway, I agree with you on the source being evil. And it just makes sense. UFO's are an easy way to entice humans away from the old superstition of the past.
When I read Book of Enoch, things get very clear regarding this matter.
V welcome. Thanks.
Yeah. Some similar feelings.
But I figure he deserves some slack for all he's evidently been through.
Thx
V welcome. Thx 4 the bump.
