She is really much, much more than a grieving mother...

She is unbalanced...her points about how no one seems to understand how much SHE has suffered because of the loss of a SON (as opposed to a husband)...

reminds me of the 9/11 families that were wanting MILLIONS because of a 20 something year old son/daughter...even though that child had a family of their own...sheesh...

I KNOW that the worst thing is for a mother to lose a child, but there are limits, IMHO!

We could do a lot better good for our military families if all of us at FreeRepublic start a campaign similar to woundedwarriors.org. If those of us who have any second homes in nice places, we should offer free use of them to families of our wounded military who need some peace to repair damaged relationships. But I was advised by Col. John Folsom at woundedwarriors.org to only make such an offer through military chaplains who could best pre-qualify candidate families. He offered his assistance for my wife and I to do just that.
