I agree that Sedona is beautiful, and I especially agree with Jenny Lake in Wyoming. But c'mon Pittsburgh? The other places listed are pretty but not top ten. Where's the San Juan mountain area of Colorado (Telluride, Silverton, Durango)? Canyonlands of Utah? Cascades in Washington? Yosemite?

Okay, so it took only seven posts for the Pittsburgh 'dis' to happen. Have you ever
seen the view from Mt. Washington (a high cliffside w/observation decks) looking down on the confluence of the Mon and Allegheny river meeting to form the Ohio...with lights on the skyline twinkling, the fountain at Point State Park running it is awesome. I really don't believe any other major city has a vantage point like Mt. Washington.
Watch next year's MLB All-Star game...it is being played at PNC Park on Pittsburgh's North Shore...take a look at the night shots of the city...you will be impressed.

(I used to take the highroad, but the altitude gave me nose bleeds....)
