Note to self. Don't buy the album. Don't go to the concert.

The cultural elites still don't get it. Time to show Mick Jagger the door.

Sweet Neo Con
The biggest surprise. We thought Mick was an old Thatcherite. But here he
sticks it to Bush and co right between the eyes. ''You say you are a Christian , I think you are a hypocrite,'' he spits in the opening line to a tune a little like Dylan's "Masters Of War", while the chorus sneers, ''How come you're so wrong, my sweet neo-con.'' A Virgin spokeswoman in the US has already put out a panicky statement denying it's about Bush or anyone on the White House (can't risk upsetting Clear Channel, can we?). But if you believe that, you'll believe anything.

Hey Mick !
Promoting heroin use did wonders for your fan base.
When are you going to apologize for the lives your heroin advocacy took ?

Of all the lists in the world, the list of moronic entertainers has to be the longest. Talk about "This is your brain on drugs."

Nothing more than the rantings of a washed up fossil who can't accept the fact that he hasn't had a hit song since the early days of the Reagan administration.
In 2006 the only thing more pathetic than a Rolling Stones tour are fat, brain dead 40 and 50 year old yuppies who will pay hundreds of dollars per ticket in a lame attempt at trying to hold on to their youth.
Interesting that he used the term "neo-con". Most of the time when I see this term used it is followed by nasty, anti-Israel statements.

The Rolling Stones? Uh, are they still alive? How old is Mick, 75? Keith Richards looks like he's somewhere in his 80's.

I think [Keith Richards] is a bit worried because he lives in the U.SI doubt it. Now if he had a religious conversion and came out as a pro-life Christian, then he should be worried about some wacko, in-your-face liberal harassing him.

Their last #1 hit was in 1979. A few minor hits in the 80's. Who cares about them anymore? I don't.

I love what Dennis Miller said during their tour in the late 1980s.
"The Stones used to sing for social change, now they sing for Budweiser"
To: jimbo123
...Mick Jagger sings: "You call yourself a Christian, I call you a hypocrite... You call yourself a rocker, I call you a senior citizen.

In his 80s?? Keith Richard looked like he was in his 80s 40 years ago. He looks like one of those old people from the Caucusus Mountains in the yogurt commercials now, only they look a lot healthier.

Keith Richards looked like death warmed over in the early 80s, when I saw him from 10' away at a New Barbarians show date.
