Soccer is a great sport to play, but I cannot understand why ANYONE would find it entertaining to watch. To my mind, American football is by far the greatest spectator sport.

Chalk that up to short attention spans. How long is the average play in NFL? I'd guess about 4 - 6 seconds. How long is the average break in between plays? Soccer is non-stop action. No ... it's not high scoring, but then I've seen plenty of 1-0 baseball and hockey games and a few 3-0 NFL games.

Don't get me wrong ... I enjoy American football too, but there's so many annoying things about it (especially the idiot dances for simply doing what they're (over)paid to do ... but that's another story). But is one better than the other? That's a personal opinion.

I lost it. Not unless running around without doig anything is action. I'd rather watch beans cook

I would rather see TO sign a football or Joe Horn talk on his cell phone than see some skinny soccer hippie rip his shirt off....
