Rush is AWOL again
Posted on 08/08/2005 9:16:50 AM PDT by Tobor
Where is he off to this week ?
Golf ?
If he wants a radio show he should be on it more often.
I'm tired of this.

I'd be taking off of my radio show too!

LOL
You do have a point.
But, in case she only wants him for his money, he should show-up at work.

Now, maybe she's there for the football and golf stories.

I like Dr. Walter Williams, Rush should stick with him as guest host.
To: gopwinsin04
I think Walter is too busy during the week to host any other day than friday.

My friend you are in luck! I've got some Freeper-Friendly audio from IMAO (political conservative satirists at
http://www.imao.us; one of whom have been on Rush's show recently and have been featured on Republican Radio in Seattle, the Jerry Agar show in Kansas City, Mark Larsen's Morning Magazine in Florida, and others):
Download the MP3 at: http://www.imaopodcast.com/download.html
The August 8 show features:
- IMAO strikes oil but will the money change them?
- Dubya poses as a Canadian to bring oil prices down in the USA
- Alternative energy sources from Frank, Sarah, SpaceMonkey, Harvey, and RightWingDuck
- Laurence Simon updates "Jack and the Beanstalk" with a pot-smoking Willie Nelson
- Harvey has Fun Facts about Hawaii
- Buck the Marine reviews "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike"
- RightWingDuck answers listener questions on the energy industry
Turn it up! It's safe for work Freeper-Friendly conservative funny!

I like him also, but I get bored with him.
He tends to teach things I learned and accepted years ago. As someone above said, sorta, he does not apply his philosophy to the events of the day often enough.
Williams is probably my first choice of guest host, but
I like Hedgecock (sp)pretty good too. Neither one is Rush though, not by a long-shot down the fairway.

Pimpin da podcast I see. Well, I guess it's ok since Frank choked on Rush. I don't know of a better way to start off the week than with the IMAO gang.

Rush is the Johnny Carson of talk radio ... never around. Johnny Carson, especially the latter part of his television career, would show up maybe once a week and take nearly three months off in the summer. Rush is following Carson's lead ...

Right now, til my computer gets sound again all I have is broadcast radio. I'm in the boonies, just one talk station, and it is feeble.

Rodger Hedgecock and Walter are probably my favorites. How about some new blood like Anne Coulter or Michelle Malkin for a change?
To: xcamel
He is talking about the media now.
It's pretty interesting.
