It was part of a plan...have the kids early, get them out of the house, then still have a few years to live in (relative) peace and quiet.

well i waited to get married so having kids at that age wasn't possible. which i happen to think accounts for our still being married after 20 years. though my best friend growing up whose 26 yo son just got married, is my age exactly and got married at age 22 and is still married to the same man. she is truly an anomaly in this day and age.
