[I Drive Too Fast]

In 1969, I lived in Pensacola, Fla for the summer. My oldest relatives {aunt} is in her late 70's or early 80's. I think she was born in Noma, Florida and has lived in Florida all of her life. She probably moved to Panama City sometime in the 1950's or early 60's.

We left Pensacola to come back to Southern California. We stopped at a rest area in Alabama. When the rain started, we got in the cars and kept driving west. The rain that we felt was the first bands of rain from hurricane Camille. At some times we were just a few hours ahead of her landfall. I remember we got the last tank of gas at one service station before he {the owner} closed up and headed out.
