Tom & Jerry to me were a rip off of Sylvester and Tweety. But I still sat glued to the TV watching 'em! BTW, this is the best character of all time!

Tweety's first apeareances didn't involve Sylvester, he had a completely different nemesis at first
Foghorn was good, but is he the best of all time? That is a subjective thing.
In my opinion he's OK but he didn't appear until Warner brothers started sh*tting the bed.

Funny you should say that.
I work at a site in the midst of an urban area where wildlife is abundant for at least two miles in all directions. One of the more majestic are hawks.
Watching them and their soaring, circling to capture lunch, I thought of Henery Hawk, I think that was Foghorn's understudy, and realized that the hilarious detail about the little chicken hawk had totally escaped me until that moment: Henery wore glasses!
Talk about subtle.
