He is good. So are The Simpsons. I expect South Park is good also, except I have seen only one episode.

However, any list that does not include Mickey Mouse or any other Disney character, and does not put Looney Toons at the top is not worthy of consideration.

I really hated Hanna Barbara cartoons, because they were aimed at children only not children and adults like the best Disney and Loony Toons cartoons.

I like the Simpsons too. Although the past couple seasons haven't been that funny as in years past. I like Ned because he owned a store for left-handed people ;)

I've tried to watch South Park, but end up turning it off. I can't get past the annoying voices. Maybe I'll try to sit through an episode and see what all the hype is about. Until then, can you explain what this "South Park Republican" thing is.

Maybe it would be best to have two classifications; one for "kids" cartoons and another for "adult" genre?

And don't bash the smurfs, guys. Alright, it went downhill after the "smurflings" were brought in. The originals were fairly entertaining. To a kid, that is. Okay. I was up EVERY saturday at 8:30 to watch them. Don't stone me.

While I agree with the Simpsons and of course South Park, the new job I have allows me to stay home until about 8:30 instead of fighting the traffic every morning. This has allowed me to watch two of the best done, from my warped POV :), cartoons I've seen in awhile. Jimmy Neutron and Fairly Oddparents. Yes a lot of it is aimed at the kiddies watching but at least a couple of times during the show they'll make a joke only an adult could understand. Catscratch is another new one that looks good

I'd lose the Smurfs, Batman, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and add Beavis & Butthead, Tom & Jerry, and Rocky & Bullwinkle(loved Boris and Natasha) to the list.

If any cartoon deserves to be rated over South Park, it would be Looney Tunes(30's-50's, the new ones suck), not The Simpsons.

Of course, the age old debate continues: Who was hotter, Wilma or Betty? ;^)

The problem with Popeye and Tom and Jerry is which version you want to tout. The later versions weren't that good.

Agreed! When I was a kid my mom and I used to watch the older Tim and Jerry cartoons in the afternoons and just howl with laughter.
