I have a series question and I expect nothing short of a series answer to my series question. Why does my browser not lock on to a web site but just keeps spinning the little ball even though it loads the site? I'm using Netscape/Mozilla on a Mac with Cox cable modem...

Almost all sites it appears but FR is really bad. I have to hit the stop button to lock it. I guess it could be Cox's problem?

does the status line (bottom left of the window frame) have a web address displayed? It might be that there are graphics that are slow to load. Is your connection slower than usual, too?

I'll be as series as I can, considering I don't really have a clue.
I run Firefox and seem to have the same problem, although it's not really a problem. Seems to occur more when there are a large amount of pictures on the thread. Even though I am not looking at that particular section, they are still coming in up thread.`Mine does eventually stop though.
