Knaus talking about the unique pit road here, being very narrow and sneaks up on the driver.
The last box here is the worst. They usually pick that one at other tracks but when they picked that last year they had trouble. People run into each other there. Hummmmm if JJ is last maybe he will get that one anyway.

Boris Said with a 180.148 (24th of 38, 4th of 13 field-fillers). That puts Hamilton Jr into the show and knocks Mike Garvey out. Garvey joins Mike Wallace, Morgan Shepherd, Kenny Wallace and Jimmy Spencer in the rush to the exits. Terry Labonte will take the champ's provisional, which puts Kevin Lepage on the bubble.

The pit road was really made for only 33 cars.
TNT now on with tape-delayed coverage.
Stuart Kirby joining the go-home crowd with a 177.774. That puts Boris Said into the show.

Just to complicate things, Busch qualifying is up. Riggs is up in the 10 for Rallys.

I guess this is taped too since Rusty is in the booth and he's scheduled for Cup qualifying still.
Riggs had a little bobble.

That's a big improvement from practice. I'm sure he's happy.
Wow, Smoke has James Dean on the 33 Busch car. It's gray and should be awesome under the lights.
