We're spoilt here in the grand South.
I know,,isn't our garbage service just divine???
That must be why they are too busy to pick up all the dead appliances in the front yards.
We need more pickup days in the south 'cause can you just imagine all those chicken necks spoilin' in that heat!

During the winter I have our trash pickup cut to once every two weeks. We share a can with our neighbors who are also a childless couple so there isn't much trash between the 4 of us. During the winter they head to Florida so the trash never fills up.
Well, isn't it also very hot? So the garbage would rot much faster?
