I am trying to find out what day of the week is trash day for most people. Please let me know what day your trash truck comes to your house.
Thanks

And tons and tons of airconditioning. And the only decent recipes for mint julep. And the only bread pudding in the world worth dying for.

Friday
Will you be posting results of your study :-)
Just coming from the California thread I have to say at least they do recycle bins there. Texas doesn't for some reason.

Tuesday, but those that pay for different services in our subdivision have 'em on different days. I've got neighbors with pickups on Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.

We are not asked to recycle here and no container is provided.

Trash "pickup" any day I feel like taking it to the dump.
$14 per month for weekly pickup vs. $1.00 worth of gas approximately once every two weeks. Besides, I'm retired and need something to do.
To: cajungirl
LOL! After I hit reply, I remembered I should have posted "we get twice weekly service YEAR ROUND" not just the summer months.
Yes, indeed. A/C, deviled eggs, and iced sweet tea that I consume by the gallon!

BAck door pickus?
I have severe garbage envy now. They really come to your back door?
Does anyone remember the old fashioned milk man who came in the back door and put the milk in the "ice box" and took the empty bottles. And pretended not to notice all of my sisters and me in our jammies.

I agree with him...I saw on TV one night the process of trash when it leaves our houses...did you know they open those bags..everything goes over a conveyor belt...people are there with suits on to separate...OK then why recycle? We don't...we just feel like we put people to work by not recycling...
