I am trying to find out what day of the week is trash day for most people. Please let me know what day your trash truck comes to your house.
Thanks

NO, here in Vicksburg. The city sprays every evening at 5:00PM! Isn't that fabulous?
I have left CA forever.

My theory is that the evenly distributed M-F trash workweek is NOT evenly divided. And this is because garbage men work slower on Mondays and Fridays?

Our garbage men in the south are true gentlemen.
But this brings up a domestic problem and I am open to opinions. I think all garbage goes out every night, everything, even if the kitchen can is not even half full. Everything, waste baskets and all. And disposal is run at bedtime and dishes washed even if the machine is 1/4 full.
Am I unreasonable?

In CA, I even had a trash compactor, but would often times have too much trash for the "issued can" and we were issued the largest can. There's so much waste in CA. Items are packaged to meet this standard and that standard. The issued recycle bin was the same size as the issued trash can.

Well if your taking suggestions/complaints....then could you call mine and tell him that if a bag falls out could he possibly pick it up and take it anyway? What happened to the trash men we had as kids..that got out if something went wrong???

Nope! I do not keep anything in the trash overnight that "could" attract any insect!

Three separate trucks come by on Wednesdays; 1st during spring-fall a yard waste pick-up, 2nd a recyclables pick-up and 3rd garbage.

Since I have a Democrat Congressman, trash day is Election Day.

LOL, I knew you were kidding!
But I am into garbage, really. It interests me. ANd the psychology of the garbage men is interesting. In Baltimre, if you didn't tip them at Christmas, they started having accidents with your garbage.
Freep mail sent.

In Buckhead some pick up guys "managed" to get dog poop on the handle of our trashcan.
So my husband "managed" to stick a possum in the trashcan.
Scared the hell out of the pick up guy!

I don't doubt they are. :-)
I'm dying to know, though. Are you going to post your findings, analysis, and conclusions?
