MY NEW PET PEEVE

I just spent my lunch hour at the grocery store. I was so ticked off by the time I left, I had sweat rolling down my face.

First of all, (and I'm not knocking stay at home mom's) but is the noon hour the ONLY hour in the day that they can schedule hauling their screaming bawling children to the grocery store???? I mean come on... those of us who work 50 hours a week use our lunch hour to get things done, not to tango in the isle trying to get around a passle of "play group" kids on a field trip!

To top it all of... after my $260 worth of groceries, there was no one left to sack them for all the "mommy groups" so I sacked them myself and had to carry them out myself, all so I can get back to work and fume over it.

I think there should be a law against people who don't work to stay out of the grocery store from 11am to 1pm during the week and let us workers have the opportunity to get our stuff done.

Anyway, done venting... like I said I have nothing against stay at home moms as long as they stay at home during the lunch time hours.

Oh boy what a monster this is. Oh well... so much for getting the the gist of it.... PLAY GROUPS ON A FIELD TRIP, NOT everyday mothers... I probably typed that wrong anyway. Well at least you all got to rant for a while.

And for whoever made the baby post... thanks, but I've done my fair share of those very scenarios. I have 4 teenage boys, 1 of which is handicapped.

No, my oldest. The cheerleader is my middle one. I also have the twins, but they go to sports camp, so they aren't with me much in the summer.

I'm a stay at home mom, and I work far more than 50 hours a week. You can grocery shop any time except the nine hours a day (or whatever), during which you work, so stop whining.

That said, bratty kids suck no matter where they are.
