If a 16 year old boy was crying he had other issues to deal with than the death of a puppy.

Are you saying 16 year old boys shouldn't cry?

Not over this. Maybe there is more to the story, maybe junior was told not to bring it home, they live in an apartment that may or may not have restrictions. Maybe dog was unsing an expensive piece of furniture for a repository.

There are bigger things in this world to cry over, this isn't one of them. Now that dad is arrested and looking at jail time ( probably lost job ) and the pulse of America is on the be kind to animals thing dad may be gone for a few years and we ( tax payers )get to raise the kids and they will probably be mental patients in the future for the family being broken up. Kids now don't have a dad. Cry over that.

...and yes I am aware the parallel of animal cruelty a serial murders etc...

police officer found Sanon's 16-year-old son Steve screaming and crying in the parking lot of their apartment.

There's a difference between crying for a lost pet and the "screaming and crying" that was reported..

It made me take a second look regarding this kids maturity. It's not like the animal was a "lifelong pet"..
