Harry, all your posts are BS.
What I am is a bit crazy and rather bored these days.
Do you have a job yet? You're 56 years old, you need to be contributing to your community in some useful way, and giving pony rides, hanging around young girl basketball players, and giving gifts to neighborhood little girls is not the way to go. You quit an EMT course because it was too intense? Have you gotten professional help or AA for your scotch drinking problem? Have you found a church yet? You've been living there four years, you should have some adult friends and groups to spend time with.
I see nothing wrong with buying gifts for the local kids. I even got a computer program to help me keep track of their birthdays. I do not invite them inside my house or otherwise make any inappropriate contact with them. I just like them. Kids are, in many ways, more likeable than adults. Plus, it gives me something to do. As would the pony.
Forget the kids until you get your own act together, that's how you can really help them. Set an example. Children are not toys for your entertainment and a man of 56 needs to be involved with other adults. Frankly, the fact that you have a computer program to keep track of their birthdays bothers me.
I can take the razz. I'm too old to mind it.
If you're lonely there are plenty of groups for adults you can join. As for the pony, do it a favor and let someone else have it. Get a cat or a dog as a companion for yourself, not to attract children. And this isn't razz, this is serious advice. Find some real counseling, not just advice on FR.
Excellent observations and advice. You listening, Harry?
