She bought a game rated for 17 and over for a 14 year old, and now she wants to sue over inappropriate content(if the 14 year old downloads the patch and hacks the game to access it).

She didn't mind the violence, misogyny, mayhem, celebration of theft, but the sex was just too much!

"Take Two Interactive initially said the scenes were not part of the retail version of the game but later admitted they were. "
This admission will cost them.

Cohen said in the suit that she bought the game in late 2004 for her grandson when it was rated "M" for mature, for players 17 and older. She bought a game intended for 17 and over for a 14 year-old. But when things that are in a game that's intended for an 18 year-old showed up, she wanted to sue.
Hmmmmm. Anyone see the logic here?
The only logic I see is a lady (and most likely an ambulance-chasing lawyer) who sees dollar signs and wants an instant payday.
Just damn.
If you want on the list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...

I think that this is one of the best games out there. My hats off to R* for surpassing my expectations again. Though the story missions are a little weak the rest of the game is excellent.
I dont think that R* should be responsible for something an albeit misguided programmer built in. They gave the ones before it enough trouble as it was...

Maybe she should sue herself over providing inappropriate content to a minor.

In what way? All they did was acknowledge that the Hot Coffee mod unlocks code that's otherwise inaccessible.
I'm so tired of hearing about this crap...

The logic is that her son is a trial lawyer, and he went to his mom and said, "hey, will you be the lead plaintiff"? We can all make a lot of money.

The story missions, weak? They're the most original in the series, IMO, especially Ryder's. Toreno's are great too.

Just add 'games companies' to the corporate hate list of the left - oil companies, tobacco companies, arms companies, drug compamies, cosmetic companies....

I doubt it's real sex - it's probably just porn...

The ratings are basically token, my 12 yr old son has played and demod many that were rated M, no big deal, its not worse than whats on prime time tv these days.
That said, he is not allowed to play or demo this one and I have explained why and what is reportedly on it. I also do not allow him around YuGiO as I view that as kiddie tarot cards and explained to him the consistencies.
Sometimes being a parent you have to make decisions that may not be consistent but explaining the reasons teaches the kids prudence. Its not always simple.
I'm with the parent on this one. The game guy went too far.

Japanamation is porn. The japanese reportedly view the legs as sexy and provacative and the bustline is not a priority. Notice in japanamation that the chest is covered (No low necklines) but the legs are viewable almost to crotchline.

If the game had put a label on it like todays cd's do that might have prevented the complaints.

I've seen screenshots, and it looked like badly done dryhumping between fully-clothed characters.
