Ed Gein would become the inspiration for a number of novels and movies, including "Psycho" ("Norman Bates"), "The Silence of the Lambs" ("Buffalo Bill"), and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre".

Gein was a St. Paul, Minnesota, bus driver. He is recalled as a friendly fellow who invited co-workers and bus riders to his Wisconsin farm for barbeques. Mnnesota blames his predilection on bad Wisconsin cheese.
