Hate to burst your bubble, but I think there's a much simpler reason that Clinton knew the stain was his, and it didn't have to do with an inside source at Justice.

Naw, it's provable evidence that matters to him. He couldn't lie his way out of it was the real story. Hillary is another matter. She'll go into her grave selling the lie, whatever it is on her last day.

Until they tested, Clinton wasn't sure they had the proof. He had no idea she had not laundered the dress. It could have indeed been a later food spill while she was wolfing down half the restaurant.
