I think we should change all our NASCAR measurments to metric because 321.87 kph sounds so much cooler than 200 mph.

I was in grade 9 when Canada went metric.

Like math wasn't tough enough already, I had to learn it all over again in a different mathematical language.

That was in the '70's.

My son, born in '91, has never known anything other than metric, so we sometimes have a hard time communicating......ie:

Son:It was about 2 meters away from me

Me:You mean 6 feet?

Son:No. What do my feet have to do with it?
