Good morning.
Good morning. Yesterday, at 1pm it was 99 degrees here. I didn't dare check it later in the afternoon for fear I'd think it was really hot. ;o)
How do you feel?
That injection the doc gave me plus the medications have worked a miracle. I still have some tenderness, but the onslaught of shingles seems to have been stopped in its tracks. I can't tell you how relieved I am to be spared the pain I had the last time I had this lying-in-wait culprit. Thanks for asking.
Back to work.
See you all later today.
Yesterday, the youngest got on the computer right after I posted and I didn't get a chance to get back on. Wednesday, however, lightning hit something between here and the neighbors and it took out our linksys box. I had to get a new one.
I have decided all insurance is a scam. I have paid out more in premiums than I have ever even come close to claiming. And, if you do put in a claim, your premiums go up.
It's so nice to see you, Jem. I miss you when you don't post.
Have a good day, Doggie. I'm thinking you need some time off soon. How is the house hunt going?
Thank you. My computer upstairs is a RAT and won't let me log on to FR. No one can figure out why, it just won't. So, I have to get dressed and come downstairs to this general public computer and get in line to get on. It isn't always available at the same time I'm on.
Yesterday, when those pictures of alstillbes were posted, I was thinking, of course of our illstillbe.
Carolina, I am so glad the shot worked. Good news for you.
Good Morning. Are you here or are you there? Wondering if your Northern home got any rain.
I've accomplished quite a bit this morning. Doing some research for a discussion group on Foreign Animal Diseases (FAD)
Another security alert in London being reported of FNC now.
Good Morning, Sweetie. I'm so glad you're gotten some relief from the shots. I was very concerned for your welfare.
Are you limiting your activities until it's totally cleared up?
Funny. I thought of illstilbe, too. Sure do miss her.
I'm 'there,' IG. Daughter says we received some rain a couple days ago, but the heat is horrid. It's actually hotter in IL than it is here in FL. Go figure.
Now, enough about me. How are YOU?
Haven't exactly escaped the heat. It's just more bearable down here with the gulf brezzes and all.
Good news, CM! So glad you went to the doc early and got that shot.
We are wet. Things haven't really dried out since Cindy and Dennis went through. I've done a bit of yard work, but mostly I've just moped around. The littlest thing leaves me exhausted.
It's been nice chatting. BBL.
I have switched from gardening to Tunneling due to the Heat Wave. It is just too, too hot to work outside without exposing yourself to the possibility of getting sick with the heat.
I am Tunneling thru a storeroom, uncovering things I once considered valuable and pitching it into a dumpster.
In 3 wks, I'll wish I had it back.
I continue to move hoses around and water my gardens deeply, but that is the extent of my outside work. I know the weeds will continue to grow, but I simply cannot work in that heat. I have turned into a wimp in my old age.
The weather forecast here for all of next week is sunny and temps in the 90's.........but no rain. You've got too much rain, and we've got too little. Unlike the little girl's exclamation in "The Three Bears", it never seems to be "just right", does it?
Wash your mouth out! You've gotten smarter.
