Shooting cops in GTA is a bad idea. Even if you kill a cop by accident they're all over you like white on rice. I hit one with a bat one day and he pulled out his service automatic and had 10 rounds in me before I knew what hit me.
Not that that makes it any better, but cops do get a little respect.
I showed my fiancee how to ride a bike and punch in the game. First she accidently ran over a group of gang members on the bicycle and then had to ride away quick when they got back up and started shooting at her. She got off the bike a short time later and I showed her how to punch to defend herself. She runs up to a random character and starts punching him despite me yelling "Not that one!" It was a cop and he pulled out his pistol and finished her off in self-defense. She never did finish the first mission and got CJ back to his house. Now we play two players, I as CJ and her as one of the girlfriends.
Really awesome game, as you can fully interact with much of your environment, but them leaving the sexual aspects of the code inside was dumb unless they want an adult rating. I think these games should be for 18+ anyway due to the graphic violence or at least have a parental control. But if they make another GTA, I'm buying.
