Why would Farrell attempt to suppress what may be his only memorable screen performance? Actually Phone Booth was excellent. Have you seen it?

I thought
Phone Booth left much to be desired. It was an interesting concept and definitely worth seeing - but the denouement didn't ring true.
And Farrell playing a lecherous showbiz scumbag didn't seem like much of a stretch.
