Now there's an interesting conundrum; I've been pondering it the last couple of days.

I've changed; I no longer drive like a maniac, drink like a fish, or do anything that would jeopardize my kids' future; Mr. Legs, although he is a good father, does everything exactly as if he had nothing special to live for. Have any theories?

Does Mr. Long(but anything but elegant)Legs, have an insurance policy that would continue his family in the life style he has provided, should he not be there? If so, he is thoughtful in some ways but irresponsaible in others.

He needs to be made aware of the fact that his presence is far more essential to the happiness of his family than anything else.

Its not that he doesn't think he has nothing to live for. He is who he is.

Everyone matures i.e. drinks less, fewer barroom brawls, quits drag racing at 2 am. on Saturdays.

When I met my wife I told her that who I was was who I was, and if that bugged her then she might need to look elsewhere. I didn't say it to be mean but I wanted her to know that the guy she met is the guy shes gonna get.

I think women have the idea in their head of what the perfect marriage is and thats what they try to achieve. I think men hate that idea and just want peace in their family and to not be nagged to death.

I think women want to be treated like a queen, a princess, a scholar and a daughter and they want to be treated according to the mood they are in. Men generally don't want the hassle of a fight so they oblige. If a man truly respected his wife he would treat her like he would treat a man.
