Well, I don't see how it could have been Lily, helping out RAB, as someone pointed out--the boat in the cave was charmed to accept only one powerful wizard at a time. I can see how HP could be overlooked, but not Lily and RAB, if RAB is Regulus.

Now, a favor: If someone has a copy of OOTP (mine is on loan, drat) could you post the two or three sentences from the book in which the locket was mentioned? It was mentioned in the chapter with all of the housecleaning. Thanks in advance!

Ignore any of my typos, please. The paragraph is on page 116, bottom of the page:

They found an unpleasant-looking silver instrument, something like a many legged pair of tweezers, which scuttled up Harry's arm like a spider when he picked ti up, and attempted to puncture his skin. Sirus seized it and smashed it with a heavy book Nature's Nobility: A Wizarding Genealogy. There was a musical box that emitted a faintly sinister tune when wound, and they all found themselves becoming curiously weak and sleep until Ginny had the sense to slam the lid shut; also a heavy locket that none of them could open, a number of ancient seals, and in a dusty box, an Order of Merlin, First Class that had been awarded to Siruius' father for "Services to the Ministry."

It means he gave them a load of gold," and Sirius contemplated thrrowing the medal into the rubbish sack.

Several times, Kreacher sidled into the room and attempted to smuggle things away under his loincloth, muttering horrible curses every time they caught him at it.
