I think the members of the OOTP and especially the Weasleys will talk him into returning. Will he stay there all year? I don't know.

I think he will go back. Lupin always reminds Harry of his parents sacrifice. If he goes to Godric's Hollow, I think he will find info that his parent's wanted him to finish & graduate from Hogwart's.
