Oddly, enough, I am familiar with the argument you are putting forth. It is tired. It is weak.

I will now make, surely not for the last time, a polite request: If you wish to argue your case against the dreaded book, by all means...do so. On the Religion forum, if you don't mind.

Sorry, your argument is the one that's weak.

The Lord is a Rock indeed as we follow His teachings -- and His teaching is that magic, wizards, and the occult are abomination in His eyes.

The sand is for those who do not follow His teachings.

(And the Lord's words apply to all aspects of life, not just to a box some call "Religion.")

We can agree to disagree.
