Just so you guys remember. John Henry was a huge Kerry guy and lent him his private jet for the campaign. There were several Red Sox who refused to go to the White House. George Steinbenner and A-Rod were both W contributors!!!!

Which Red Sox players refused to go to the White House?

Also, Curt Schilling actively campaigned for GWB right under John Henry's nose. I know Mike Timlin and Johnny Damon were Bush supporters. I suspect Tim Wakefield, Kevin Millar and a few other Red Sox players were Bush supporters, but I can't prove that.

And "big Red Sox fan" John Kerry's favorite Red Sox player was some guy named "Manny Ortez".

I was at Fenway during one of the games in which John Kerry made an appearance late last summer/early fall. When he was announced, there was a smattering of polite applause, along with a big round of BOOs (My husband and I and two friends contributed to the latter, of course).

All Red Sox fans/players/employees are NOT RATs...
