That he could eat in it and it'd be more comfortable all day. When I go out now with Bay's Kimberwick on, I have to clamp his mouth shut with the noseband to have any real leverage.
I've never had trouble with one eating with a bit on.
Does Bay hold his mouth open alot if you don't use a nose band. I've never use a nose bad.
