I agree with you on the girl in the armor! Wow, what a costume. I did that once. My horse was a fire engine, and I was the fireman. We put a red blanket on under his saddle, and made a ladder out of sticks and tied it to both sides of the saddle, and a length of hose was tied to one of the D rings on my saddle. We pinned a dalmatian stuffed animal to the back of the blanket. We had a red halter/bridle, and through the crown piece we threaded a water bottle filled with tinfoil to make a "siren."

Sounds pretty cool. I'll bet that was fun. I always enjoyed dressing up to ride in the Christmas parade. I never did anything elaborate but I always liked to string battery powered Christmas lights around Tennessee's neck. He looked pretty cool coz it was a night time parade.
