I prefer night driving too:') I can't remember the last time we took a two week vaction. It's been at least 6 years.
deaconjim and I have always had to make sure someone was caring for his parents and arrange and pay for someone to come in, and the few times we have left it to family promises we have either not been able to go and lost the vacation, or we have had to come home early. Not that I regret any of that, but........
Now that his parents are in Heaven, I can, probably for the first time since we have been together, really relax on vacation. : )
