Either one, I've read that exercise is good for them, especially arthritis.
I still think he's playing with you:). The way he runs around the pasture with the others, and picks up his pace when you turn towards home.
I think your in the postion with Bay, I'm in with Rusty. Looking for stuff, and then finding every little ole glitch and reading way to much into it. Granted he did have a cinch sore, but it wasn't that bad of one and you adjusted as soon as you noticed, that shouldn't have been a problem. It's tough having a horse that your not sure what your dealing with.

Oh - there's a lot of that. With Bay's age, I'm watching him very very intently for signs that he just can't do this any more. One of these years it will be time to retire him. So I should be carefully watching, but not inventing things. I don't need to invent things! You're right!
