Congratulations :) I'm sorry about your saddle though. I bought a synthetic one several years ago, 17lbs total. Bob is now using it for endurance. It's held up very well and is really comfortable (and hoses off when dirty).

good morning! Thanks for the info, you must be so excited, your babay having her first own baby! My friend had almost given up on ever being a grandma and has just been told her daughter in law is expecting twins! Needless to say I am saving all of Thomas clothes/toys he outgrows for her! : ) We have leather and synthetic saddles. My saddle for Sugar is synthetic, so is Emmas, The one Deaconjim uses for Smokey is leather. I love the look of leather, but synthetic is so easy to keep clean etc.
We are in Memphis now, we stopped for an hour about 4am to sleep. The kids are all excited and awake! So far the trip is going great. : ) Havent seen much of the scenery as it is still dark! LOL
