The FreeRepublic Saddle Club - Who's Who *pics*

This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.

I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!

I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and Becky pings everyone most mornings. Let Becky (Paynoattentionmanbehindthecurtain) and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.

So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

Thank you for forgiving me, I was so happy to see the rainstorms that I did not read your post closely.

I have been there years ago but I don't think Thompson's is there anymore.

"Who built the house, do you know?"

The people we bought it from built it piece by piece. They didn't have any money.

That house is in the perfect spot for an indoor arena.

I'm not sure about that old phone booth. I will probably keep it and the speed limit sign.

That old house of mine doesn't look anything like that dome house that you posted the pics of.

Well, not right now:') The bookstore moved. It was on the east entrance to Tandy about 2 blocs down from the candy store.

Well, Okay.... but I wouldn't want an arena with a dome house in the middle of it ;~D

Evening everyone.... we're home from the beach house...

No, actually, he wasn't much up to it. He's got a lot of pain in his shoulder, not sure why, but it kept him from sleeping last night or having much fun today.

He doesn't want to go to a doctor... and he's actually very fearful that it's not a pulled muscle at all, but another bout of shingles... I've never had that, but he did a few years ago, and he said it started out as a deep pain in his hip that felt the same way.

So rather than be misdiagnosed now, he wants to wait a few days and see if he breaks out in shingles or not.

I would get him to go get checked. Gallbladder disease can also trigger shoulder pain but so can heart attacks.
