An hour and a half early I think is more than I have ever needed.

That won't get you through BWI on a Monday morning! I try to give myself 2 hours on busy days, but that never happens when I travel with She-who-needs-ritalin - so it's always a hyperstress nightmare.

eee BWI is a heavy one. Denver is quite large but easy to get around if I recall correctly. Cedar Rapids is small enough to be very fast. The big ones are always slower, mainly due to huge lines at 'security'.
