I managed to eat a hugh helping of Big Chicken for lunch with the giblet gravy. I was starving, so that helped. LOL Seems like whenever I cook a big dinner, I'm so tired by the time I sit down to eat that I don't have an appetite. That's what happened to me last night.

It really was delicious, better than Little Chicken...which leads me to believe there is something to be said about the aging business. Little Chicken, for some reason or other, was a bit chewy and dry.

Big Chicken had very little fat, as I've mentioned, but the whole time it was roasting, I basted it with butter! I also kept it loosely covered with foil.

It turned out very tasty and moist.

Now I'm enjoying a large bowl of yogurt...we have plenty! Over half a gallon now!

Mmmm...Big Chicken...

I'm having cherries and yogurt for lunch. Odd for a lunch, I suppose...but I had fried onions as part of breakfast, so I guess I'm just not exactly conventional.
