Tomorrow we're thinking of taking a road trip to Mt. Rainier.

Well... not much new. Kinda slow in here now, but it'll liven up later. Just me and the Pirate and some traveling dude that wants to talk about golf.
At least wayport is werkin' tonight. :-) Friday I was kinda' on the warpath.

How'd your Monday go, hon?
Got another level of hell added to our department. Now, whenever we e-mail a client we have to place #ms# in the subject line.
Then, our clients (who already struggle with entering new hires and keying payroll themselves) receive an e-mail letting them know that they have an e-mail waiting from us.
They have to create a username and password in order to access the server that holds each and every e-mail that comes from us.
I won't ~even~ get into what they have to do in order to reply to us using the same security. WAY over their heads.
*shakes head*
It's an unmitigated disaster, my friend. Nobody likes this thing at all. Not us, not the clients, no one.
I don't have a clue.
[sigh] Sorry about that. :-)
But after four (4) calls to the wayport noc monkeys they did finally let me get the building maintenance dude to let us into the room where the wifi A/P lives... and power cycle the thing... and lo and behold... it came back up.
Oh, good everlovin' Lord...

The company has decided that they want to be "cutting edge" with security.
We all had to attend a training with the most ridiculous guidelines ever.
Among them, if any co-worker shows up without their badge, you must escort them to the security desk to verify their employment before allowing them into any department.
*rolls eyes*
You can only imagine how that rule has been snickered at.
Ok guys...
So the panel that decides who gets called back on the really nifty job Rosie's applied for, meets tomorrow morning. You know what that means; tonight and tomorrow morning, remember to be very obnoxious in praying for Rosie. Hopefully we can get Heaven so fed up with all this constant nagging that she'll get the job. Right?
So. You've got your orders. Give it a try if you please!
