Overuse of the word "unfortunately," especially as a way of deflecting personal responsibility for a situation, and because the speaker thinks its use makes him/her sound more intelligent.
I hate when people misuse the word "hopefully." I also hate that there is no useful replacement, forcing me to say "hopefully."
Hopefully, that will change.
"Actually" is the word I also hear used that way.
