Haven't read thru all the pet peeves, so this may have been posted already ... standing in a check out line at the grocery and have the person who has just been rung up ... fumble thru their purse (yeah, we're talking women) looking for a check book, or credit card, and then write a check or charge items amounting to less than $5.00 ... happens more often than you might think.
