Okay, My DEAR Ms. Amy,

I am just responding to your "goodbye", "need a break", "let me have some space", "I am tired(overwhelmed, frazzled, worn out)" note. (sounds like some of my lines to my male would be "boyfriends".. lol.)

We ALL understand. I could never see how you did it so regularly. An idea for you/others to consider(if you were pinged, you are in the "to consider realm")

Can we rotate to help/hosting duties? Yes, mayor, both snugs, mama & I do other threads but once a week, just to try to share a bit & monitor the thread. Not holding anyone's feet to the fire but a loose arrangement. No expectations of major HTML..just a rotation of helping.

Would you still be willing/able to post the main "gig" twice weekly Amy? You Amy perhaps could take one day of the Monday post or Friday post. I would volunteer the other.. to get the thread going. That would leave Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sat, Sun. I will volunteer for one start up day (maybe there are others who I didn't name who would like to try.)don't need HTML skills, just willingness to be a host/hostess helper.

We all know how easy it is to "borrow" things from other threads..I know Billie can be counted on to check in a few times a week with a contribution of beauty.

Well, just throwing in some ideas. While you are on vacation here.. I can help a few days..

Lets use the rest of this week for some dialog on this everyone, okay?.. I was very covered up yesterday in many respects & didn't get home until late.. but I have been thinking about it. I know Amy this is your baby. Don't give it up without a big fight!

Dusty Leaves

Read:
Psalm 32:1-7

I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the Lord," and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. —Psalm 32:5

Bible In One Year: 2 Kings 18-19

cover The rubber plant I bought for my wife Dorothy added a touch of life to our home. But one morning its leaves were dropping as if in a state of dejection. I wondered what happened.

When I came home for lunch that noon, the plant was completely transformed. It looked as hearty as it did the day I got it from the store. Its leaves were extended outward once again. When I asked Dorothy about it, she told me of reading a household hint on how to keep plants looking fresh. It stated that dust accumulating on the leaves can actually prevent the light from getting to them, so it's necessary to wipe them off regularly. She had done this and the result was amazing.

As we live in this world, tiny "particles" of sin can easily build up in our lives. Resentments, sharp words, impure thoughts, or selfish attitudes all take their toll on our spiritual vitality. Unless they are confessed right away, they begin to form a layer of "dust" that prevents us from experiencing the light of God's grace in our hearts. Those around us will sense that something is wrong.

If the accumulation of unconfessed sin has gathered on your soul, do as David did—confess it to the Lord (Psalm 32:5). Wipe off the "dusty leaves" of your life and enjoy once again the glorious sunshine of God's love. —Dennis De Haan

Before the cross of Him who died,
Behold, I prostrate fall;
Let every sin be brought to Him
And Christ be all in all. —Bridges

Confession of sin lets the light of God's forgiveness shine through.

Dilemma

How fortunate for us that we don’t have to make such choices,
It isn’t hard to listen to such loud internal voices.
The kitty’s all too eager to have friends who come to call,
But doesn’t seem to realize he cannot have it all.

The concept of to have and hold is not on his agenda,
But somehow his is not the shade you’d choose on your veranda.
He’s going to botch the rental on this cozy place to snooze on,
It seems they’ll be left winging it; they’d better get a move on.

There must be someplace near enough the cat will not intrude,
He doesn’t seem to understand his being there is rude.
For these love birds it will not do to have to live with mom,
But even that is better than to have a peeping tom.

"The Republican Party was born in the early 1850's by anti-slavery activists and individuals who believed that government should grant western lands to settlers free of charge. The first informal meeting of the party took place in Ripon, Wisconsin, a small town northwest of Milwaukee. The first official Republican meeting took place on July 6th, 1854 in Jackson, Michigan. The name "Republican" was chosen because it alluded to equality and reminded individuals of Thomas Jefferson's Democratic-Republican Party. At the Jackson convention, the new party adopted a platform and nominated candidates for office in Michigan."

Before

Before you seek love in another
you must first love and respect
yourself

Before you speak of peace and pacifism
you must be at peace
in your heart

Before you seek forgiveness
you must be able to forgive

Before you ask for redemption
you must first be willing to find yourself
redeemable

BYOS

The deep down essence
of spiritual largesse
is wrapped in a bundle:
BYOS.

It's a cool secret
that's been around for a while.
Bring it on baby,
bring your own
smile !

It's about bedtime out here in LA-LA land. But first I wanted to post the stereogram for tomorrow. I may not be able to get back in here until tomorrow afternoon.
Glad you all seem to be enjoying these stereograms. I will keep posting them each day until I run out.

Enjoy!

Look deep into this image.
How many Egyptian women do you see?
Four? Look again.
