Your a,b&c is exactly how we should do it. Especially severe penalties. But ID "disenfranchises" Democrat's voters, according to them. If someone doesn't have ID, there are alot of things they are unable to do. Voting should be one of them.

Exactly right. We can't drive, buy booze, sign notarized documents, etc, without ID. But sure, let people vote away to their hearts' content without ID!

What the DUmmie types fail to understand, or more likely PRETEND to not understand, is that for every bogus/multiple vote a REAL voter is disenfranchised. They like that word "disenfranchised" in some instances but not in others it appears.

you know, I just don't understand the whole I.D. issue some people have. Like you said, you really can't function without some sort of official ID issued, for example, you can't set up a bank account, can't get an apartment, can't get cable (or at least I couldn't), can't buy beer/cigs, and so on.

Everyone who shows up to vote should be required to present an official government issued ID (DL, non-DL but ID card, etc). If they can't, well then, they can go home and pick it up or they are sol. My two cents...
