We will tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Oh, that's general. The "stuff" is heavily disputed.
It is indisputable that during the 90's, the MSM wrote dozens of articles about the world's fear that Iraq and AQ had formed an alliance. Articles complete with meetings that were held and names of how this was known. You need to remember that during the 90's, OBL did not know that we were listening in on his satellite phone. Once he realized it, he stopped communicating that way.
And it's indisputable that the first WTC bomber took refuge in Iraq.
And paperwork found in Iraq points to the fact that Saddam considered OBL to be an intelligence asset in his desired war on the west.

"But I was comparing it to the Iraq War - not the War on Terror. "
You are trying to say that Iraq isn't part of the War on Terror.
Seared meat...served on a flip flop plate.
LOL, that is the best. ROFL
I belong to Rush 24/7. May I send him the list of specials we have compiled?
LOL! That one is SEARED in my memory.
Try the large serving of Hillary Ham Hocks w/the x42 whine.
I will be going over to the Tony Snow thread to see what's going on. Back later.
Which intelligence agencies have disputed that there was an Iraq/AQ link? Can you provide a link, please?
Even the 9/11 Commission and bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee Report cited many such connections and links between Iraq and AQ, complete with specific examples about how they worked together.
You have fallen for the MSM spin of those reports, biscuit.
"and he may even have seen al-Qaeda as something of a threat."
Then why did he meet with Al-Qeada officials, and have terrorist training camps in Iraq?
I was gonna ping ya, but saw you were already here.
;0)
"I have succeeded in stating that view quite explicitly several times already in this thread."
No, you've successfully shown that you are either unaware of some facts, or purposefully ignoring several facts that show that Saddam had ties to terrorism.
You go from saying that the WOT isn't global, then you say it is.
Iraq is part of the WOT.
Make up your mind.
Yeah, so?
Don't like that much do you?
There's quite a lot to show for Iraq's involvement with AQ.
The Senate Intelligence Committee Report contains over 60 detailed pages of direct connections between Iraq and AQ.
- 78 reports from different sources provided info that Hussein's regime was actively training Iraqi intelligence soldiers for attacks against America or our interests.
- Iraq provided AQ with chemical, biological and radiological bomb making training.
- Direct meetings between senior Iraqi military officers and top al Qaeda operatives took place between the early 90's and 2003.

Hi, Jet! Glad you're here too.
He's a troll, despite being shown links to information, he still insists that Iraq is not part of the WOT.
He insists on trying to separate Iraq from the WOT, just like the Dems do.
He so far has hit many of the Dem talking points.
Information isn't going to convince him of anything.
He's here to troll.
