I still listen to my Endless Summer CD. They are great and don't deny it!

I've never seen Jimmy Buffet, but I sure would like to!

I like the question marks after the dates. A little fuzzy, huh?

I'd rather have seen Bob than Ziggy!

Jimmy Buffett's concerts are incredibly fun! Make sure you dress up as a shark or a parrott, or you'll identify yourself as a maiden concert-goer. Dh and I cannot bring ourselves to life without Jimmy music even though we won't listen to his wacky politics. Even our kids are parrottheads.

As for the fuzzy dates, well...

I thought I would not make it out of that place alive. I only went because there was an extra ticket.

Most high - Meadowlands - Def Leppard/Billy Squier 1982?

I would have loved to have been at that show. "Bringin' on the Heartache" is my favorite Def Leppard song.

Dasher, do you remember what I told you about that song? ;-)

Buffet is a lot of fun even if you don't like his music, but you need to see him outside.

an historical nite (for me) tween me and a certain older woman I might add

Had one of those nights at a Yes concert (with Wakeman) in Long Beach, '79.

A noteworthy show was bluesman Taj Mahal at a small club in N. Hollywood, '87. Bob Dylan, George Harrison, and John Fogerty were in the crowd and joined Taj on stage for a encore lasting over an hour in which they played a bunch of classic blues/rock tunes. Great night.

Led Zeppelin at the L.A. Forum in '77 (the Presence tour) was definitely the loudest show I've ever attended. ....ears ringing for about a week afterward.

Saw a bunch of early Tom Petty shows in the '70s, which were incredible.

Dylan's "born again" tour ('79) was memorable. .....some great gospel.

Best blues show was probably Buddy Guy & Junior Wells at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz in '86.

Freakiest shows were definitely jazzman Sun Ra and his Arkestra.

The ARMS concert (Faces guitarist Ronnie Lane's benefit for muliple sclerosis) was another memorable one, at the L.A. Forum in '83. Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, and Jeff Beck, and Joe Cocker each did a set, and the encores of "With a Little Help From My Friends" and "Layla" (which saw Jimmy, Eric, and Jeff trading off some epic licks) topped it off.

I'll exercise some self-control.

I've only got two more days until Mike gets home. Finally! :-)

You know what's funny? I think you'd really like my SSCPOH. If I wasn't married to him, I'd hook the two of you up. ;-)
