instead of Billy Wagner, I would put Brandon Lyons, the CL of the Diamondbacks on the NL team.
Albert Pujols is only the best player in baseball today. Period. No one at any position matches his numbers. No one.
I'm a loyalist so my favorites are Tigers.
Jeremy Bonderman is shaping up to be a top notch pitcher. (discounting last night)
Ivan Rodriguez is one of the best catchers out there not to mention he can swing a bat. Rondell White is pretty hot right now. Carlos Guillen should shape up pretty quickly now that he's back. Dimitri Young is always a threat. Nook Logan has a golden glove in his future. I really like what I see from Chris Shelton. Placido Polanco has been proving that he was a smart trade.
Offensively the Tigers are a top notch team but defense is where they're losing. They're 13 games behind the White sox and at .500. Tram says 2006 will be the year he's been shooting for a contending team. Personally I think he's on track.
White Sox... :D
Yeah, but with guys like Scott Rolen (5HR, .248 AVG 20 RBI) and Carlos Beltran (9, .262, 37) leading in their positions (those certainly don't look like All-Star numbers, but you'd never guess it by looking at the current balloting results) you don't have the best players of this year playing in the ASG.

Baseball ping.
Begins and ends there. You want a lifetime achievement award there's the Hall of Fame.

I am glad to see tek leading catchers. He has had an outstanding year. mueller at third should be higher up in the voting. I know A-rod will win But muellar is so under rated. He is Mr. Clutch also I would like to see Trot in there somewhere.
I'm a bit of a Reds fan...as if ya couldn't tell. I could add a lot more Reds...Vada Pinson...

Cal Ripken, Lou Gehrig and Roger Maris.
Why is Cliff Floyd left off of everyone's list?
C. Floyd - .282 AVG, 20 HR, 51 RBI
As far as the Mets are concerned, Floyd deserves a spot much more than Beltran does.
C. Beltran - .265 AVG, 9 HR, 38 RBI
Breaking in DFW, Texas Rangers Pitcher Kenny Rodgers attacks Fox Reporter and others.
Did anyone in the DFW area just see it on the news?
Reporters have the right to be on the field..
He totally lost his cool. One reporter left on a stretcher.
Charges will be filed.
