Been playing at making a map for a game.

Hey, I just finished a new map for one of the books of a trilogy I just put on e-publishing. A surprising amount of work goes into a map, best of luck with your game!

It's a map for Doom3.
Playing around with the idea of trying to make a mod for the game.
Unfortunately, one cannot just jump into it without first learning the tools the game uses.
And that is ALOT of info to learn.

The demon devil from hell
did raise his head
to send more to their grave
His ugly, evil, soul is greed
to reap them in to fill his need

The innocent ones as slaughtered lambs
blood spatters, cover the lands
from New York City to London's Gates
all generated by dark, black, hate.

And those who would say indeed
this evil thing is good
God help your soul for you are lost
and the cost is horrible in humans lost.

More horror spreads across the lands
from the caves of evils reign
the weeping covers the winds of war
Oh my God, how much more??

Do parents, young and old, and bent
walk to graves to bury parts of loved ones
deep, and never get over the horror done
to tear asunder those who where one.

We pray for our beloved Troops at war
with the demon from hell
Protect them with angle's wings
those brave volunteers with nothing
to gain, save victory and freedom to ring.

Queenie, I am crying here. I am feeling so many of the emotions of 9-11 resurfacing today. Prayers for all our soliers, ailors, airmen, marines and coasties who are working side-by-side with our Allies, the Brits, in this war against evil.

Black Day in Britain

A bright red double-decker bus ripped apart,
and three trains were targets of Islamic hate.
Innocent people were hurt by evil’s heart,
and now good people are touched by fate.

Talking heads spewed news in an orgy of words,
each seeking to out do the other in tragedy TV.
Cameras, recording everything in sight, a media herd,
reporters reciting the same words, mindless as can be!

For the Brits we feel a connection, cousins that we be,
for we’ve been there ourselves, 9/11 scars still so raw.
Terrorists, inhuman, violence soaked minds you see,
filled with hate, everything sticks in their craw.

To the Brits we extend our hand to help plan punitive raids,
information and intelligence, tools of Justice’s Iron Hand.
Our cousins need, and we will be there to render aid,
for we are closer then some nations might understand.

Islamic fundamentalists are becoming careless now,
they added to the number of hunters looking for them.
More of the world is now aware, since the bloody row,
and England will stand to fight, evil now to stem.

Still the Muslim masses hold their silence, as before,
looking like their part of it, a load they will have tobear.
A world war is coming against the evil of Muslim hate,
and even moderates will hide in their respective lairs.

To our cousins across the great salt sea, we care,
we’ll stand beside you as you’ve stood by us.
We will hunt the hellions down with you there,
and they will pay for innocents on a old red bus!
